Day off work today as it's a public holiday (Auckland Anniversay day). Just lazing about the house at the moment trying to decide if I want to do anything. It's soooo hot. Not sunny though, very humid. You feel like you're being baked inside a giant oven.
Played Monopoly last night for the first time in years. There were 4 of us which is better than playing with just 2 as you have more people to barter and exchange properties with. I came second. I thought I was going to win, but the other guy had hotels on Mayfair and Park Lane as well as the green properties. You just can't get down that street without landing on one of those.
Next Monday is also a public holiday. It's Waitangi day. Thinking of going to Sydney for the weekend. Pretty expensive though to get there. No such cheap airlines here like Ryanair or EasyJet. Would be good though. Only been to Sydney once with work and had a few hours to run down to the opera house and take a picture.
