Haven't written in a wee while.  Not been especially busy...just that they are very strict about internet usage at work, and can't be bothered to go on-line when I get in at night. 
 
Got a new job at the company I was contracting for...am now in a permanent position as an applications specialist.  The job is still basically testing, but involves customer support, and user training and stuff.  I also get to go on a unix scripting course which will be another skill for my cv.
 
Not been up to much really.  NZ is in the grip of the worst winter it's ever seen.  I'm really struggling to cope without heating.  I can't wait until summer.  Erm...what else.....got contact lenses, got a NZ drivers license.  Played dialog coach to my boyfriends friends girlfriend (an actress going for an audition as a scottish person in the 18th century).  She was in NZ's answer to eastenders for a while.  She picked up the accent pretty well.
