Applying for NZ residency as it'll mean I can enter and leave the counrty without having to apply for visas every time. I went for my medical exam yesterday, and had to get several vaccines as NZ require vaccines against Hep B, Rubella, Measles, Mumps and I needed another tetanus shot. I got 3 jabs...one in each arm and one on the bum. She jabbed away and then I realised she had just given me the 'controversial MMR vaccine'. She assured me that since I wasn't a child, I had no chance of becoming autistic from the vaccine. I'm sure she knows what she's talking about.....

My arm is absolutely killing me today though. Could barely lift it high enough to get deoderant one this morning. Hope it gets better soon.

Work was a drag today. Unfortunately I was one of the people in the office to get hit with a bug that is going around and has half the staff off sick. Had taken a day off the other day, but still not 100%, so getting through the day at work without falling asleep still a bit of a struggle. Anyway, after 2 hours travelling home (yes I travel 3.25 hours to and from work every day), I discovered that the microwavable chicken breast I bought was actually nice! 3 minutes and you have a chicken breast ready to eat. I was pretty healthy and had a tomato with some philadelphia with it too. Oh..and I'd had a fried banana for starters....that was nice too.

After deliberating for some months now as to whether I should get a fringe cut back into my hair (yes, I have no life), I just went for it tonight. My 'I fear change' boyfriend will be back from hockey soon, so am interested what his reaction will be as he's never seen me with a fringe.

On other news, if your dog has a light brown 'something' in his/her mouth, DO NOT try to fish it out as I did the other day.....turns out my precious Bella likes other doggie's poo. Not so nice for me to be dry retching in the middle of the street.

Weather starting to change now. Summer is coming and it's getting very warm...it's all chicks in short skirts and guys with no tops on. I, on the other hand, am still wearing my normal trousers and tops. Am sweating like a pig too I might add. The reason? Walking into work is like walking into a fridge...air conditioning at full blast is the norm when you go indoors. I have been shopping and got some summer gear for the weekends though. Need to get some sun cream too...got burnt last weekend. Very weird though seeing all the xmas decorations up. It just seems wrong somehow for it to be xmas when it's warm.

For some reason, the warm weather has also caused thed traffic to become really heavy. This means I'm having to get up half an hour early to get into work at the same time. I average 3 hours travelling time a day which is pretty bad. Even with a car it would take on average 2 hours. A job nearer to home is the answer maybe.

Had my boyfriends car this weekend as he's away on a hockey tournament. Was nervous driving as the give way rules are different here. Managed to get to the shops and back without too much bother. Only stalled it once :o)
