I am so ill. I've just spent the last hour suffering from horrendous stomach cramps and having to run to the loo every 10 mins. Think it's food poisoning from the british pub down the road. It was a nice day today, so my friend and I went down there and sat outside by the pool and had a fry up and a can of irn-bru. It was very nice at the time, but now I am suffering. Haven't heard yet if she's ill too.

What made me feel much better though was the sight of a tube of pringles that had been hidden behind the computer monitor. My lovely boyfriend had hidden them there as a surprise for me....something to keep me occupied while he's away. (he's in the UK for a few weeks for work reasons). I already found the very nice hokey pokey biscuits he had hidden in the cupboard in the spare room. I think I'll rent a few dvd's and have a quiet night in with my pringles. Pure bliss!

It's raining, it's pouring, my little dog is snoring.

Good job too because someone set fire to the old couch we had left out for the council run, inorganic rubbish collection.

Well, didn't have to stand in the rain after all. Due to wind damage to the original venue, the concert was moved to a theatre in the middle of auckland. They were doing 2 concerts on the same night as the new venue was too small for everyone. They did one show at 8pm and then another at 11pm. Tickets 1-2500 were to go to the first one and the rest to the later one. Luckily we got to go to the first one. It was a good concert. They were pretty energetic on stage, and can sing very well live. I had a good night.

Just finished my first week in my new job. It's pretty cool. I have a large desk at the window and when the sun shines in it's lovely and warm. The office has a fridge full of soft drinks for people to help themselves. They also have a foos ball table. I've played a few games. I'm not bad at it. Haven't been involved in any work yet, just playing around with the products and reading doco. I did find a bug on my second day though. It had been in the product for 4 years without anyone spotting it. The support guy was amazed and asked how did I ever think to right click and select 'new' instead of clicking the 'new' icon!

The weather here is downright weird. We're had very, very heavy rain all week, between bouts of blue skies and warm sunshine. This morning I got woken up by the loudest clap of thunder I've ever heard in my life. It was so loud, the house actually shook. I thought I was going to die in my bed, buried under a wooden house. We've had heavy rain and then sunshine every 10 mins since then.

Going to see the Black Eyes Peas in concert tonight. An open concert. As in, there's no roof. Am in 2 minds whether to try to sell the tickets or not. It won't be very enjoyable standing in torrential rain and not able to hear the music over the loud thunder. Hmm.
