So tired. Haven't had a decent nights sleep since we got the puppy. She wakes up really early, and even though she doesn't cry any more, she still shuffles around in her bed...chews the newpaper, crunches her biscuits. Always me who stands in the back garden in my jammies until she does her business. Ah well......

In other news, doing a little skit tomorrow in work. We were all split into groups and each month we have to do a presentation. I play the part of the mad scientist. I don't have too many lines to say thank goodness. Not looking forward to it.

Well, after several days of calling the puppy dog-dog, we've decided on Bella. I think it suits her somehow. She's an absolute monster though....always trying to bite your hands, and jump up and bite your face. She's already put a hole in my new jumper by jumping up and grabbing on, and refusing to let go. I also got a digital camcorder for my birthday, so we've been taking movies of the dog, and the house and stuff to send back to the folks. It's the first time I've seen myself on camera and I don't like it at all. I hate the way I sound too....my accent sounds so strong.

Social life kind of dead at the moment. Only place we seem to go to is the local shopping centre to get chinese noodles. Haven't even been to the cinema lately, and can't remember the last time I had an alcoholic drink. I miss my friends. Miss those boozy nights out drinking and dancing and gossiping about men. (sigh)

It's my birthday tomorrow, but I got my present when I came in tonight. Guess what it was! A puppy!!!!!

It's a maltese/pekingese cross and it's just a tiny ball of white fluff. It's so cute! No name for it as yet...any suggestions?

Made a cake last night. Sponge cake with butter icing filling. Tasted ok last night when it was still warm, but today it was solid as a rock and tasted like egg. Still ate it though...it's cake right!

Tomorrow I get to go to Middlemore hospital in south Auckland to do a training session with my boss. We're showing them how to use existing functions for a piece of software that allows them to view patient records and requests for tests. I'm looking forward to it.....something different.

Nothing much of interest been happening lately to blog about. My life has become extremely dull.

Today we went to the beach to have lunch (ham & egg quiche). Boyfriend had a custard slice. I had a chocolate fudge one. Went to the supermarket. Came home. Did some laundry, read some. Plans for tonight? Home alone to watch whatever is on tv.

I need to get out more.
